Overview
Useful Things sells downloadable digital software. Because direct Mac apps are delivered electronically after checkout, refunds are handled case by case and focused on genuine purchase, delivery, installation, activation, or product-function issues.
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
Eligible Refund Requests
Please contact us within 14 days of purchase if:
- You bought the same product twice by mistake.
- You cannot download, install, open, or activate the app after following support steps.
- The app materially does not match the product description on usefulthings.app.
- There was a payment or license-delivery issue that cannot be resolved through support.
Requests We May Decline
We may decline refund requests for change of mind after successful download and use, unsupported system setups that were not listed as supported, misuse of license keys, or requests made outside the refund window unless required by law.
How to Request a Refund
Email Useful Things with the product name, purchase email, order reference if you have it, your macOS version, and a short description of the issue.
We may ask for basic troubleshooting details before approving a refund, especially for installation or activation problems.
After a Refund
If a refund is approved, the related license key may be deactivated and access to future downloads for that purchase may end. Lemon Squeezy may handle the payment reversal and timing depending on the original payment method.
Beta and Unavailable Products
If a product page says Buy soon or asks you to request access, public checkout is not active from that page. There is no charge from those held buttons.
